In Jesus’ first appearance after his resurrection to Mary Magdalene, she originally presumed Christ to be the gardener, before he opened her eyes to see who he was clearly. We consider together Jesus Christ as the Perfect Gardener, with his church as the garden, and we trust in the church that when the wind of the Holy Spirit blows in his church that Christ the Gardener would have a sweet smelling savor to him.
