In the aftermath of the flood, God gave a token of his covenant, to never again destroy the world by water – with the rainbow. However, it is called an everlasting covenant and we see the rainbow in heaven. This makes us think there is a greater lesson that just the world will not be destroyed by water. Praise God for his covenant faithfulness that his people will never be destroyed because we have been saved by the ark of Jesus Christ!
