As we look at some examples of pits that were dug in fear instead of trusting God, we see that pits dug in fear for the wrong reasons will always inevitably be filled with sin, if not in our lives, it may not be filled with sin until generations later. Let us be purposeful to not be reactionary and not let fear dictate our actions instead of faith, and not dig pits in fear that can be a danger us and others to fall into.
