While Romans 10 is commonly used as an invitation for people to believe to be born again, a close examination of the text shows the intended audience are children of God who already have the word of faith in their heart. Rather than believing to be saved to heaven, the already born again children of God are called to confess publicly the testimony of the word of faith already in their heart.
