Belief and baptism is one of the most powerful experiences for a child of God in their walk of discipleship. Belief is not when we are born again, but how we lay hold on eternal life we already have in Christ. We study the various descriptions of this event in scripture – salvation from ignorance and shame, sealed with the Holy Spirit of promise, receiving the gift of the Holy Ghost, justified by faith, and receiving the answer of a good conscience before God.
